HubMeeting Quick Start Guide

This guide is for Web & Video Conferencing hosts that connect to their conferencing server via their web browser. Please note, there is a separate pocket reference for the e/pop Quick Start Client.

START a Conference Now!


To use Web & Video Conferencing you must know your conference server link (URL), your account name and password. The conference server link is
www.192.168.3.92 This link and your user account will have been provided within your HubMeeting Welcome Email Use your web browser,
input the conference server link and hit return.

Login using your account name and password.
Then click on create conference. You will be prompted through basic conference set-up and enter your conference room.

 

Schedule a Conference for later

While setting-up your conference, you will be prompted to start the conference now,
or later (When does the conference start?) To schedule a conference, just click “Starts Later,” and then the date and time. You will also be prompted to join the conference room now or later (e.g., if you want to practice or prepare presentation materials).

INVITE People
 
 
Once you enter your conference room, to invite people, give them the conference link (URL) over the phone, or go to the main menu and select Conference, Invite to send them an
email invitation. That’s it!
 
SHARE a Presentation!


To Share a presentation, just select Share
on the main menu, and select PowerPoint
presentation. You can share virtually anything on your PC with these choices:

Use Audio & Video

Go to the main menu, and pull-down the
Conference menu, you will see Unmute All (PC
audio) and Play All (video). Use these to start PC audio and/or multiparty video conferencing.

Advanced Controls

You can also control audio and video settings by user. Right click on any user on the participant list, and select mute/unmute, or pause/play. You can also right click on their video display and you will see the individual user controls.

 
END Conference
 
To end your conference, select File, End
Conference. If you select Leave, the conference link will still be active, and any presentations being shared will be left in the conference room. This can be very handy for recurring meetings.
